The Long Walk
The Plumbers Union has been a proud participant of the long walk since its inception in 2004.
Organisers, shop stewards and officials of the Union joined Michael on his famous walk to Canberra to lobby, then Prime Minister, John Howard.
The Long Walk is now held yearly to coincide with the 'Dreamtime at the G' AFL match between Richmond and Essendon. The Plumbers Union continues its involvement each year organising the marshalling for this fantastic community event.
