| Site Allowances |
| As per the current Collective Agreement for on-site plumbing personnel the project values and corresponding site allowances have to be adjusted in line with the Consumer Price Index (CPI). The CPI for the period concerned was 2.8%. The specific clause of the Collective Agreement states that the site allowances have to be adjusted, up or down, to the nearest 5 cents, and the project values to the nearest $100,000. |

| The figures that will apply from October 1, 2009 are: |
Clause A.19.20.6.1 of the Collective Agreement states: “The minimum project value, below which NO site allowances is payable, is $2.4M as at 1 October 2008”.
This amount becomes $2.5M and is applicable from 1 October 1, 2009. |

| The Site allowance on projects which are a combination of new and renovation work shall be governed by the majority of work involved. For example, where the majority of work is new work, then the Site Allowance appropriate to new work shall be paid for all employees on the project. |
